My guitar input snapped off?

I have had my current guitar for many years (yamaha pacifica) and it has faired me well, but the plastic that encases in the input into the guitar came off and the input was just hanging out, but later that snapped off so now i cant play amped and fxed up so what shall i do, should i take it to a shop and how much would it cost, i still have the existing input hellppppppp x
