Will he talk to me after a break up?

It seems like you broke up with him to get him to realize how bad he wants to be with you and wants you back. But you broke up with him instead of sticking with him to work it out. So you are supposed to move on now and he should do the same. If you realize now that you made a mistake then you need to let him know that and that you want to work it out, but don't expect him to come back open arms, he might not, that's his call.
