If you were blind since birth and could suddenly see as an adult... would you be elated or terrified?

I think I would be pretty terrified in the beginning. There is no understanding the vastness of the sky or the speed in which society function until you actually see it. Like seeing a mive thunderstorm for the first time, or even a person's face would seem creepy I think. What are your thoughts... what would be scary to you were you in this situation?
